Suspicious Range Rover Stolen From OW Police
posted (October 26, 2018)
Orange Walk Police are looking for this Range Rover after it disappeared from police custody. Last week, a resident of the Louisiana area called the cops because the ominous looking, all black, heavily tinted Range Rover had been parked on Sapodilla Street for two days.

Nobody knew who owned it, so Police had to tow it in to the station. But, there wasn't enough space in the station compound - so the tow truck left it on the street in front of the station. But it was only there for a few hours before it disappeared. Presumably, someone with the key came and stealthily moved it. Police say they are reviewing nearby surveillance video to try and track it down.

The Range Rover is very suspicious for a number of reasons. First, it is registered to someone in Sittee River, and the license plates are both from Stann Creek - but the plates don't match. And then, the license sticker is from San Ignacio, and the Insurance is also for another vehicle.

Police believe the vehicle may have been used in some illicit activity, possibly even to carry out a gang related hit. At this time though, it is gone, and they have no idea of its whereabouts.
