That's a critical and telling detail - and we'll keep pressing for an answers.
But, today one vehicle the Commissioner did want to talk about was a White Wingle. It was wrongly being linked to a senior police officer - but it turns out that it is a Wingle used by military intelligence in this operation. Whylie laughed off the suggestion that it was a cop's truck:...

"There is no indication any senior officer was involved. I understand that a white vehicle was put up there on Facebook and a lot of nonsense was said about a senior officer. There is no truth to that rumor. We need to stop putting up nonsense without confirmation. The vehicle involved was involved in the operation. The vehicle does not belong to that senior officer any at all; nor his wife, nor his family."

One other detail which the Commissioner refused to discuss is the one Belizean who is being held along with the 12 Guatemalans. We are told he is a businessman from Orange Walk - who was caught in this kind of business before, specifically when a plane landed on the Northern Highway in 2008.
