Glen Lopez is additionally charged with 1 count of keeping an unlicensed firearm for one of the guns police retrieved on the scene, and he's also charged with keeping unlicensed ammunition for 8 live rounds of 9 millimeter ammunition, which was found inside the weapon.

Since these offenses are indictable, no plea was taken and Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford remanded both Mejia and Lopez to the Belize Central Prison, until January 8th, 2019.
