Belize has a New Taiwanese Ambassador. He's Remus Li-Kuo Chen, and he will succeed the former ambassador, Charles Liu, whose term in Belize ended rather abruptly last month.
The new ambassador presented his credentials to Governor General Sir Colville Young. At the ceremony, he discussed his country's gratitude to Belize for its support and friendship on international issues, and he added that his government hopes to continue to enhance ties of cooperation and goodwill with Belize.
The new Ambassador was accompanied by his wife and members of the Taiwanese Embassy in Belize.
