Salvapan residents don't have any information about Jermaine Sanker either. When we spoke to the resident who was at home when Sanker was shot in front her house, she said she just saw the vehicle parked there for about 5 minutes and then she heard gunshots. By the time she ran out, the shooter had already run off.

"I saw the car park there. I was here in the chair because I had fever and the door was locked and so when I heard the car arrive there, I was sitting there and I looked through the window."
"The boys were bursting firecrackers and when I heard them I got up and then I heard two loud bangs and so I got frightened."
"Then I opened the door and I didn't see anyone, I just saw the vehicle parked there then I asked my son what happened but I thought my son was at the other door but he was calling me here and he said the man in the vehicle and I asked what happened son but I was already nervous because of the gunshots. He had the telephone in his hand and then I ran outside and came down the steps to the car but the man was already dead."
Sanker is originally from San Antonio - which is just outside Corozal Town.
Police refused to comment on what they believe the motive may have been.
