Police Say Driver Was Pulled Out Unconscious

Now, police and first responders were on high alert last night - because the initial report said Turner was traveling with two other people who were missing. Very luckily that was wrong information which Turner confirmed when he regained consciousness. Police told us more about this:

"Yesterday, evening, sometime around 6:30 p.m., police were called to an area on the Buena Vista Spanish Lookout Road, where they were informed that a vehicle being driven by one Jack Turner was trying to cross a flooded area on the road. And as a result, the vehicle was washed away. He was rescued, and was in an unconscious state at the time he was rescued. He was taken to the San Ignacio Community Hospital, where he was later stabilized. Our investigation that at the time, he was traveling alone."

The vehicle was recovered by Divers from the Spanish lookout rescue team.
