A man has been charged for the brazen early morning Ontario home invasion. He is Glenford Patterson. As we have reported, an American woman was at home with her kids on Wednesday morning when robbers broke in, held them hostage, assaulted her and her son and then stabbed one of the caretakers. Police gave us an update today.

"In relation to the aggravated burglary which has occurred earlier last week in Ontario Village, police have since arrested and charged one Glenford Patterson, 26 year old for the laborer of Ontario village for the crime of aggravated burglary, Attempt Murder, Use Of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm."

"They were following several leads which resulted in this, they are continuing to follow leads in order to get the other persons concerned in custody."

"Well it was a robbery in that certain electronic items and monies were stolen."
Police are looking for the other men involved.
