Police have 3 Suspects Plus Car In Murder of Wash-Man
posted (December 4, 2018)
And while the family wants answers, Police have made headway in Arthur Flowers' murder. They have a vehicle impounded and 3 persons detained. Today Deputy Compol Chester Williams told us the police are still trying to figure out the motive - because the victim was not involved in any gang rivalries.

Chester Williams, Deputy Compol
"Yesterday police were called to the corner of Handy Side and Queen Street where they saw the lifeless body of Mr. Flowers. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the KHMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigation so far revealed that Mr. Flowers were standing on the corner of the lane when he was accosted by a lone gunman who pointed a gun at his head and pulled the trigger, causing the fatal injury. We have since intercepted a vehicle we believe is involved in the murder and have detained three persons who are pending investigation in that latest murder yesterday evening."

Courtney Weatherburne, reporter
"Is Mr. Flowers known to be involved in any gang or have any past issue with anyone?"

Chester Williams, Deputy Compol
"Well the only thing we know is that Mr. Flowers was a handy man, he washed cars and these sort of things. We have no information on his gang involvement. His murder is of concern to us and our officers will be doing whatever needs to be done to get to the bottom of it. We need to ascertain a motive and see where we go from there."

Street information to us suggests that the gunman had a beef with the Majestic Alley gang and was looking for a target - when he didn’t find one, he shot Flowers.
