Police haven't made any major headway in Francis Gill's murder either. It happened early Monday morning. Gill and his wife had just arrived at an apartment complex on the Northside and were about to get out of their car when a waiting gunman fired at them, fatally hitting Gill. Here is the update from police.

"In regards to Mr. Gill murder we had several persons detained all of which were interviewed and it is not yielding any arrests in that investigation. The investigation continues."

"Still no motive has been established?"

Insp. Wilfredo Ferrufino
"Well, like we said in the initial press briefing, we have several motives, we investigated all angles we had suspects in custody rather, however we did not yield any suspects from that case."

Nothing was stolen from Gill or his car.
