Working Woman Missing After Fight With Boyfriend, Family Desperate For Answers
posted (December 10, 2018)
Tonight there are serious concerns for a 23 year old working woman from Belize City - who's gone missing without a trace.

Anisha Young went to her staff Christmas party on Saturday - and hasn't been seen or heard from since: she hasn't come home, and she didn't show up for work today. She's never done anything like that before - and her cousin told us why the family is so terribly concerned tonight:

Sheree Salgado, Anisha's cousin
"The last we have heard about Anisha was Saturday when she went to her work Christmas party. After she left the Christmas party around 1am, she went to Sit and Sip. She had an argument with her boyfriend and people claimed that she went in a taxi and that was the last and around 9pm last night, my other cousin, her uncle got a call from a private number saying to go and look for her. Look for her we don't know where or what has happened. We didn't even know that she was missing. Her grandmother went to the hospital to see if she was there. They tried to call her number and it went straight to voice mail. So that's when we started to questioned her whereabouts."

"Do you think that there is anybody out there who might have any ill will towards her?"

Sheree Salgado, Anisha's cousin
"We have heard that 3 days ago she was in a fight with some female. We don't know how true it is. Because we know that this is not something that she ever did and we are getting a lot of calls and text messages, but we are keeping the faith, but it's very hard for us right now to actually say or feel that anything positive, because it's not something that she does."

"If she is out there and she sees this or if anybody has, what would you like to say to them?"

Sheree Salgado, Anisha's cousin
"Ann, everybody is worried. If you're out there and you're seeing this message, please borrow a phone and please contact us. Call somebody, text somebody just to say I am okay, I'm straight, please don't worry, because everybody is going crazy. We are in tears."

The family made a police report this afternoon and the cops are questioning one person.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 602-7154 or 614-3992.
