Police Not Sure On Charges For St, Matthews Fatal

Now as you heard, the family wants the driver, Ian Rhaburn to be charged but the police are still gathering information on this case to decide if they will press charges. Here's more:

"On Friday the 7th of December 2018 at about 9:41 am, Mr. Ian Rhaburn, a Belizean business man of Belize City, reported that he was driving from the direction of Roaring Creek towards Belize City driving a rental SUV when approaching St. Matthews Village, a male person ran from the left hand side of the road ran towards his direction causing him to hit the male person. The person suffered several bodily injuries and he was pronounced dead on the spot by medical personnel. I know that Mr. Rhaburn was issued with NIP and blood specimen was obtained by him."

"Several witness statements have been recorded, so, thereafter, we will make a decision if any charge will be levied to the driver or not. He has been served with a notice; that gives us enough time for us to prepare a file for us to make a decision if he will be charged or not."
