Anger From Anisha’s Family
posted (December 12, 2018)
As we told you earlier, the family and friends of Anisha Young assembled in front of the Queen Street police station from around 5:30 this evening. They were awaiting the release of Young's boyfriend who they believe has all the answers to Young's disappearance. Emotions are high and the family's patience is running thin. We went over to speak to the group a little about an hour ago, and here is what they had to say.

Sheree Salgado, Cousin
"He is expected to be release tonight. We need answers. We want to know what the police have on him, if there is any lead. What is he saying to the police, because he was the last one seen with her. If we have to sleep out here because we need justice - we need for him to speak up. Reality is that Annie never goes this long without contacting her family and so we know that something is wrong."

Family member
"From when we heard this news, we are out. We are not sleeping at night. We as family we are losing rest. We are tearing down our bodies to try find our loved one, just like what everybody wants, closure for their loved one. This young man is getting over protected. From point A to point B he is goes in private vehicles. This young man actually have change of clothes when he came out from the yard."

Reporter
"You all are convinced that he knows what happened. He is in on this?"

Family member
"I reach home with my boyfriend, I was the last one with my boyfriend and now I could just missing from my bed beside my boyfriend - we are not crazy."

Sheree Salgado, Cousin
"We want answers. We need closure. We need to find her dead or alive."

When we called the family a few minutes ago, they said they left and that police told them they would hold the boyfriend for another 48 hours. The family is calling on everyone to come out and help them search for Young. We will keep following this case.
