The cops say that they were on patrol, and they encountered 26 year-old Messach Forst and 35 year-old Curtis Ramirez at the corner of Mex Avenue and East Collet Canal. The officers decided to search both men, and that led to the discovery of a 9 mm pistol, which was loaded with 14 live rounds of ammunition. Both men were arrested and charged with keeping an unlicensed firearm, and keeping unlicensed ammunition.

On that same day, officers went to search the Neal Penn Road home of 29 year-old Douglas Flores. He and his common-wife, Tara Matute, were at home during the time of the search, and the cops say that in the attic of the house, they found an illegal 9 mm pistol with 10 live rounds.
