Police Confiscate Four Pounds of Weed in Orange Walk
posted (December 18, 2018)
Up north in the Orange Walk District, the cops say that they found a bag full of marijuana at the side of the road in San Jose Village.

At around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, the officers were conducting a checkpoint at the entrance of the village. They spotted a bag on the side of the road, which they believe was thrown out the window of a vehicle they were following.

When they opened it, the cops realized that the bag contained 2.12 kilos - or 4.68 pounds - of marijuana. Since no one else was in the area, the drugs were deposited as found property.
