Alleged Southern Armed Robber Out On Bail

21 year-old Tareek Smith, a construction worker of Raccoon Street in Belize City, is out of prison tonight on Supreme Court bail.

The robbery occurred at around 7:15 on the night of November 12th 2018 at Jian Store in Independence Village when 4 men robbed the store, getting off with $600 in cash, an iPhone and a gold chain.

Smith and 4 others were charged, but Smith was the only one who applied for bail today. His attorney, Dickie Bradley, was able to convince the Justice Antonette Moore to release him on bail of $6,000. Smith must report to the Raccoon Street Police Station every Friday, and he must attend all court hearings of his case at the Magistrate's Court in Independence Village.
