A woman says she was held at the Queen Street Police station after the door nearly fell on her. She is Aloma Ashon and according to her, she visited the police station to make a formal complaint against someone she has been having personal problems with. She claims they didn't take her seriously and redirected her to the Racoon Street Police Station. It was upon making her way out that things went south for her and police accused her of damage to property.

"When I opened the door, the door drop. The door didn't drop down nor it didn't break up. The door was loose on the top. The door didn't drop, it keeled. I said sorry mister, it didn't broke and it didn't fell down. He called for the WPC to charge "baba" - come and charge her. The inspector came out whom I have known all my life. He came and say that he will charge me. He told the WPC to detain me. I couldn't believe it. I thought they were joking, because I already said sorry. The door wasn't broken nor it didn't fell. The WPC held me behind my clothes and took me around the desk, to go to the cell block area where they detain people and have then take off their jewelry and cell phone."

"The police told me when I came out that I was lucky and that it was $650.00 to fix the door, but my son only had $350.00. So if the person who is to come to fix the door and if it cost more, they will call my son and he will have to bring the balance of the money."

"You know why it hurts me so much? I went to the Queen Street Police Station to make a report. Yes, I pull the door and the door drop. If I had pull the door to destroy it, it would have fell on me. Why would I want to go to Queen Street Police Station to destroy a door? Not even the gang bangers they do that."

"I don't want to sue anyone. I what I want the police to do is to apologize to me and give back my son his money and Mr. Chester Williams have to know that those old lady and little babies depend on the loyalty at Queen Street Police Station.'

Ashon claims she was held for over 2 hours until her son came to bail her out; however, she affirms she was never officially charged with anything and the police only wanted to harass her.
