"Has she ever been missing before?"

"No. She's not a trouble child, but she just likes to go visit friends and sometimes she would go for hours. But she would let you know that well, I'm okay, I'm over at this friend's or I'm over that friend's house and eventually she would come home."

"She wanted to go up at her dad's because he's living in Sand Hill village, you know, she wanted to go up at her dad and she was saying that she was going. She even mentioned to friends that she was going to her dad, but even if that was the case, she never made it there. I've been calling the phone ever since; we keep getting voicemail. I even sent text messages. Yesterday around 3:30 I got a message from the phone. I can't say that I got a message from her. I got a message from the phone."

Reporter:
"What did it say?"

Ava Young:
"It said "Ma, sorry, but I'm okay". Immediately I called; the phone just rang out, nobody answered. I got suspicious. If you just messaged me how come you can't answer the phone now? And from then, nothing."

Celine Forbes, Aunt of Kenisha Young
"At this moment it is real hurtful as an aunt because me and her, we are very close. *cries* Forgive me, but we are very close and for her not be home, missing. She loves her dinner, she is someone that is a fan of food, so for her not to be home, not to be eating with us yesterday, was a lot. And she hasn't done this; this is something that as a family we are not used to. This is going for too long, so it becomes very concerning now because we want to find her, I mean, this is not her."

Kenisha was last seen wearing a white blouse, black short pants and white slippers with silver stars on them. She is fair skinned, and has in a burgundy and black weave. If you have any information please contact them at 629-8729 and 661-4343.
