There was a minor accident at the 13 and a half curve on the Phillip Goldson Highway. On Saturday night between 11:00 and midnight, the residents who live at the curve were awakened by flashing lights and when they looked outside they saw a grey car crashed into their fence. Here is more.
Anna Gardiner. Resident "When I came out the first thing I saw - there was a flash there, but I didn't know if it was the police or it could have been some other flashing. I thought it was the police, but I saw the car already towing. I call my daughter and I say we have to go down and check and see what it's all about, because the fence is down. By the time we got there, they were already towing the vehicle away. So I didn't know who it was. I saw my fence down and I was very concern, because we have animals: cows in there. So my grandson and my daughter tried to catch up the fence a little and that was it. We didn't know who that was."
