Residents have been calling us since Friday complaining that they are are about to lose their sea view because a developer is pushing dozens of loads of sand unto the sea in front of their homes. This is the area at the end of seashore drive, near the street that goes to Brodies northside.
Now it strikes a chord because we first covered this story more than 12 years ago when Dion Zabaneh said that his mother owns the plot of land, which happens to be in the sea.
At the time, one of the residents got an injunction against the landfill. We'll see where this one goes.
