Father And Son Die In Fatal Accident

Two families are torn apart after a fatal accident in Spanish Lookout. A father and son were killed in a collision yesterday evening around 6:00. The victims are father 55 year old Manuel Ramos and his son 24 year old Jaime. Courtney Weatherburne has the story.

Courtney Weatherburne reporting It was too late for the Ramos'. By the time the ambulance arrived on scene, they were already dead.

Jaime Ramos and his dad Manuel were heading to their Duck Run 1 home when they T-boned a Ford Ranger Pickup.

"I heard the big noise there and everything so I came out and see and I saw and the guy was in the accident and the men who fell on the pavement."

"When I really came out I saw the guy who was in the vehicle he was just coming out of the vehicle and he just claim, I never saw them and I said that is terrible because I am seeing two people on the ground and they are not moving."

The driver of pickup is Caribbean Motors manager Gregory Mosser, he was also on his way home. When we visited the Ramos family, they were gathered outside still trying to come to terms with this tremendous loss.

"It was shocking because I know they were coming home from work and they were hard working. And they are poor families and they have a lot of kids so."

Now the family is calling on Mosser to help them since the two bread winners are gone.

Carmen Ramos, Wife/Mother
"I want there to be justice because it is hard leaving my kids without a father, and without my husband and without my son. For me it is very hard. I ask that there is justice and that he helps us because my kids are still young."

Manuel Ramos leaves behind 4 kids and his son Jaime leaves behind 2 young baby girls.
