And while Guatemalan officials didn't show up for the CELAC workshop, they are meeting with their Belizean counterparts in Guatemala at a bilateral meeting. National Security Minister John Saldivar told us more.

"At this present time we have our officials from the Foreign affairs ministry and the Ministry of national security in Guatemala looking at these issues including the possibility of starting the ground work to some sort of protocol at the Sarstoon so we are having those bilateral talks at this time and we will keep the nation posted if anything comes out of that."
