A hapless thief or thieves ran off empty handed after they tried to burglarize Prosser Fertilizer in Belmopan. It happened sometime last night. When the workers opened up this morning they saw the bathroom grill window pried wide open. The alarm system must have scared them off before they could steal anything. We spoke to the Manager about this 3rd burglary attempt.

"What we noticed is when we came in this morning that the alarm was not armed, We didn't really make a big fuss of it, because we had a truck to off load, so we went straight into the truck, until one of the guys went into the bathroom to wash his hands, that's when we noticed the bathroom was broken into."

"They didn't steal anything?"
Sonia Casey
"Nothing. so far nothing, not even money. We don't keep money here. Just the chemicals."
Reporter
"This is the 3rd robbery attempt?"
Sonia Casey
"Yes and nothing."
Reporter
"Why do they keep targeting this place?"
Sonia Casey
"I have no idea."
According to reports, police had intel that they would target Prosser but cops still couldn't stop or catch the thieves.
