Last night we showed you the facebook comments on the female student hairstyle policy at Edward P Yorke high school. As we told you, some parents and students took offense when they were told that certain hairstyles like the afro puff was a bit too much for school. Well, we spoke to the principal today and he told us that they have an open door policy at the school and if parents and students had an issue with this policy they could have gone to discuss it with him, not post it all over social media. He also clarified that neither he nor the school has any problem with natural hair but simply that the hairstyle must be neat, and properly kept.
