Gun Snapped In City Shooting

There was a shooting last night in the city - and thanks to a gun that snapped, the victim only got a minor injury.

Around 9:00, 25 year old Kishawn Dennison was at the corner of Antelope St. with a group of men when a gunman pulled up.

The head of CIB told us what happened next:

"Last night just a minute before 9, police visited the hospital and there they observed Kishawn Dennison, a 25 year old suffering from gunshot wounds. What police gathered so far is that Mr. Dennison was walking at the corner Antelope Street when he was approached by a male person. The male person pulled out a firearm and fired shots at his direction causing the injuries to him. I was told this morning that he was been treated and discharged from the hospital. At this moment police are looking for 2 male persons that can assist in this investigation."

"Was it related to any gang rivalry?"

"We don't have any history in regards to him being involved in any gang rivalry, but we know that the area where he lives is an area of concern for us."

Dennison was treated and released. Police recovered 2 live .380 rounds and 1 expended shell from the scene.
