Finnegan's political office is in our area - and today, once again, we saw a long line outside his office. Now, if he is really retiring next year, why is he still holding political clinics? Finnegan told us he has services to deliver to his voters right up until the very end of his term:

"Yes, although I am retired, I will continue or I have continued to work for the people on a daily basis. I continue to go at my office on Thursday. I was on a three-week holiday three weeks ago and I was back at the office today and I will continue to go to the office and I will work out my term as representative for the people, delivering for them the goods and services. By the way, next week Thursday I will be in office dealing with primarily education assistance. So, all those who are registered in my division, I will deal, next week Thursday, I will be at the office from 9 o' clock until 12 or 1 o' clock in the afternoon, dealing to see how I can assist with education."
