Family Remembers Hard Working Young Mother
posted (February 15, 2019)

But whatever the charges are - that will give little consolation to the family of a 22 year old who fell victim to an accident that she could never have foreseen.

And what’s even more painful is that Marcia Lopez was the mother of two.  The San Pablo villager was waiting for the bus to head home - when she was injured.

Her brother today told CTV-3 News in Orange Walk that she worked in Ladyville:

Russell Rodriguez - Brother of Deceased
"They said that my sister was waiting for bus, so they knock her down just like that waiting for the bus, that is the information I know now."

Reporter
"Was she coming out of work?"

Russell Rodriguez
"Well she works at the Ladyville, I think she work over there, I don't know if she was coming from work because her brother wife has a baby in the hospital too, so I surely do not know because she just went in the morning. Her foot mostly got broken and part of her body because what I heard they knock her down from the front and her liver was bleeding and part of her brain."

Reporter
"How is that the family will remember her? What type of person was she?"

Russell Rodriguez
"Well my sister most of the time I see her on pictures always smiling and she was always beautiful and she was always a happy person."

We’ll keep following the case to let you know when charges are laid…
