And, keeping it in the south, but going now from Punta Gorda to Independence village, we can confirm tonight that shooting victim, 22 year old Edward Conorquie is dead. He died this afternoon at the KHMH after receiving multiple gunshot injuries to his head and back.
The Belize City resident was found early on Sunday morning thrown on the side of the road. He had been picked up on Saturday night, and police believe that someone shot him multiple times and then threw him on the side of the road - left for dead. He survived for 36 hours after the shooting.
