Mother Pleas With Police to Take Her Son For Treatment
posted (March 1, 2019)

And this evening in Corozal, CTV-3 News spoke to Randolph Crawford’s mother.  She said she has been trying to get food for her son and get him to the hospital without success.  But she adds that he did go to the hospital the day before:

Delvorine Crawford - Mother of Accused
"When we reached here just now, Randolph and Joshua the sit down on the bench in station. So I asked why they are not at the hospital, the police that was behind the desk said he was nothing to do with that, he can't do nothing because all they do is bring Randolph in and left them there. Randolph is complaining that he have pain in his leg, he can't feel his legs and the police don't want to take him to the hospital. I'm concerned because that is my son, they bring him from yesterday from the crime scene. When I gone to hospital, they say nobody can't go in and see he. After they done with him about an hour or so they said we can go in one, one so. So I gone and talk to my son, he claimed the bullet is still in his knee and the one in his legs and they are not attending to it, he's not feeling his foot."

His mother also told the interviewer that he was in the getaway vehicle with another man when he was shot at close range by police.

We have asked Police repeatedly for comment on the alleged denial of access to medical service, but none has been forthcoming.
