Last night you heard Commissioner of Police Chester Williams go after Chairman of the Police Association, Corporal Eldon Arzu. He says Arzu has refused a directive from the last Commissioner of Police to produce audited accounts for the Association. Williams says Arzu wrote back saying that he wouldn't do it. Well that's not quite so. Tonight, we have seen the response from the police association. Dated December 24th, 2018, it says that a full rendering of the Association's account can only be done if there is a full account of the police trust fund account and the reward fund account. The police association says it has no control over those accounts and asks the Department's assistance.
