A man was knifed up last night in Orange Walk Town -and is in critical condition tonight. It happened at around 9:00 on Guyana Street where an unidentified man was attacked under circumstances that aren't too clear.
Area residents say that they saw a man known to them only as "Vato" walking with a shirt over his head, and then he collapsed.
He was seen socializing in an area known as price barracks along with two other men when a fight broke out.
When police arrived they saw him on the ground, bleeding profusely from the head. He was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital and from there, transferred to the KHMH due to the seriousness of his injury.
He had no ID and has still not been identified - again he is only known by a nickname.
