So while he was not a regular patron at the bar - what do police have on this hit and run driver?  Here’s what they told us today:

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"On Saturday sometime around 11 PM, Punta Gorda police receive information of a fatal traffic accident in Hicatee Village in the Toledo district on the Southern Highway where upon arrival, police observed the lifeless body of a male person later identified as Adriano Choco, 21 years of Hicatee Village. The investigation has shown that Choco has just exited a bar in the area and was walking on the highway when he was knocked down. Police investigation so far, I believe led them to Indian Creek Village, where one person has been detained pending this investigation as well."
