The Elections and Boundaries Department is reporting tonight that the third tranche of voters ID Cards, for the voters who successfully re-registered in September 2018 are ready.
The Department will commence issuing those ID cards tomorrow, and so if you were among those who re-registered last year September, you should visit the Elections and Boundaries office near you, and pick up that card. The Department also reminds that those voters who re-registered in July and August of 2018 are still able to pick up their voters ID cards, if they haven’t done so already.
And the Elections and Boundaries Department is also making it easier for voters in remote parts of the country to collect those ID cards. They have a very long list of places that they will visit to make these cards available. We’ll have that list posted on our 7News website later on tonight. The list provides times and dates when the E&B personnel will be available.
They say that their officers countrywide will be opened for the issuance of these ID cards on the Saturdays of March 23rd, March 30th, and April 6th between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
