The CARICOM Secretariat has invited 24 year-old Belizean drummer Musa Abdul Shaheed to serve on the Interim Festival Directorate for CARIFESTA.  He will be attending its 17th meeting, which will be held in Trinidad and Tobago on March 25th and 26th. 

Musa Abdul Shaheed is a percussionist, facilitator and teacher. A NICH press release says that he has dedicated his life to the growth and awareness of the Kriol Culture by passing on traditions through the artful skill of drumming and drum making.
