Two South American Gets Off Bank Scammer Charges
posted (March 21, 2019)

Last night we told you about the big break for alleged Peruvian ATM fraudster, Louis Marroquin, after the DPP dropped charges against him.  Tonight the news is that charges for scamming Scotia ATM machines have also been dropped against his alleged Colombian accomplice, Edgar Vargas Vaca.  After two months on remand, they were freed of the charges when they appeared today before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts Anderson.

But, the charges against their Chilean friend, Juan Espinosa, were not withdrawn.

But just because the charges were withdrawn, it doesn’t mean they are home free. They were not released today and that is because they are reportedly being kept in custody in relation to their immigration status in Belize.
