Tonight, 39 year-old Albert Waller, a resident of Belize City, is on remand after he was taken to court for allegations that he sexually molested a 14 year-old girl.

The complainant, who is 14 years and 11 months old, went to the police station, and she was accompanied by a social worker. She reported that on 3 separate days in June 2018, September 2018, and February 14th, 2019, Waller had sexual intercourse with her at a house in Mahogany Heights. 

Police investigated her complaint, and they eventually charged Waller with 3 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse. When he was arraigned today before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson, no plea was taken, and the Magistrate couldn’t offer him bail due to the nature of the offenses. The Magistrate remanded him into custody until May 29th.

Of note is that there are reports that relatives of the female complainant are claiming her complaint against Waller is false.
