Turning now to the senate, today the senators got their turn to discuss and respond to the presentation of 2019/2020 budget. We start off with Business senator Mark Lizarraga who had a lot to say about what he calls a "no consultation, tax and spend budget." Here is a snippet of his comments.

PUP senator Eamon Courtenay also gave his remarks, agreeing with some of Lizarraga's comments but disagreeing with finger pointing at the accounting officers.
Now PUP senator Paul Thompson took a completely different spin on the budget by bringing up the funding for the ICJ yes vote campaign. It wasn't a welcomed approach among other senators. Here is how his presentation went.
