There were two separate murders in Cayo yesterday. We start off with last night's killing of 29 year old Lloyden Bejerano. He was murdered inside his home after 11:00. Courtney Weatherburne went west to find out more.
Courtney Weatherborne reporting:
Although the front door was wide open, no one was inside this Oscar Sabido Layout area home this morning. It was left open after police canvassed the scene. Lloyden Bejerano's body was found on his sofa. He had been shot to the head and chest.

"I was up 11:30 last night and I saw a cycle in the yard. Three unidentified men ran into the house. They were friends with him. They just went inside and they talked to him. After that all we heard was four gunshots and that was it. From there, we didn't see where they came from where they ran out from, they just went. They didn't stay around much."
A friend came shortly after and found his body.

"Jessica Harris, bar-tender of a Shawville area address in San Ignacio, reported that around 11:20 pm that night, she arrived at Bejerano's home, found the door opened, entered and made then discovery."
A resident says he doesn't know Bejerano as a trouble maker.

"I do not know him but yes, I can tell you he is a "blessed-man." He gives no trouble, the man is straight, he talks to everyone with a calm tone, you know. The man is blessed. He is not into the trouble but it looks like trouble find the man."
Police are looking for two persons of interest.
