How Did Cops Find Weed Buried In Bush?

Earlier in the news, we told you about that 5 and a half pounds of marijuana that the cops found this morning in San Pedro.

That's discovery follows TUESDAY's big find in an area near mile 52 on the Hummingbird Highway. As we told you the cops found 20 plastic bags, which contained 56.5 pounds of marijuana, buried in the bush, off the highway.

The cops shared more details about the case today:

"Sometime around 9:30 p.m. on Monday last, Belmopan police visited an area at Mile 52 on the Hummingbird Highway, which is just some two miles outside of Belmopan, where in a bushy area, police discovered 2 parcels wrapped in black plastic bags, which were retrieved, and taken to the station, and amounted to 4.5 pounds. No one was found in the area. Additionally, police carried out a further search in the area, where they discovered additionally 18 parcels wrapped in black plastic bag, which were also retrieved and taken to the station. All found to be cannabis, and those amounted to 56.5 pounds."
