A 19 year old Crooked Tree fisherman didn’t get his bail application heard in court today because a man’s life hangs in the balance.   

27 year old Elton Baiza is still the in the Intensive Care Unit and is on life support at the KHMH - after he Â was attacked and severely beaten, in Crooked Tree on April 7th.  

Rhavin Gillett was one of the two men accused of beating him up and the teenager was remanded for attempted murder last week Friday.  

His attorney Leeroy Banner applied for bail today but asked for the hearing to be adjourned because of Baiza’s precarious medical condition.  

So, the next bail hearing is set for May 9th..
