And while Guatemala eviscerated Belize by taking first second and third place in the cross country, Belize is getting some revenge in Salvador at the World Pok Ta Pok Championships.
In their first game, Belize handsomely beat Guatemala 86-0. The team from Yo Creek in Orange Walk are the current World Champions and they are defending their title against teams from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and El Salvador.
That was a feature we did on Belize's Pok Ta Pok in July of 2018. Their journey in this year's World Pok Ta Pok Championships continues this week and we will keep following it.
