On Saturday, UNICEF along with its partners held a training for news reporters from all over country. It was held under the theme "Towards a Child Friendly Media". The main focus is how we as media personnel can highlight more positive stories involving children and how we can respect the rights of a child when we report on sensitive cases such as child abuse. It was an all day event. UNICEF and the media will continue to work together in this initiative.
