And the third murder which we're reporting on tonight happened this morning on San Pedro.
Around 9:00, as many as a dozen shots were heard at the Arceo apartment on Coconut Drive, which is not far from the RC School.
18 year old Brandon Humes, who is from the Yabra area of Belize City and doesn't live there - was found dead in a second floor apartment, his body riddled with 9 gunshots.
The man who does live in the apartment, Jose Flores told police that an hour before the murder, a man he knew, and the man's mother came to visit him. The man reportedly begged Flores to allow him to stay at his house.
Flores reportedly took this man's mother to buy tacos, and left her son inside his apartment. While he was buying tacos, the spray of gunshots rang out in the apartment. Flores returned and did not find the lady's son, but instead he saw a teenager he had never met, Brandon Humes dead in his living room.
This morning, when police discussed the case with us, they had not yet identified Humes as the victim. Here are those comments:

"Sometime, around 9 a.m. this morning, San Pedro police was called to an apartment building on Cocoanut Drive, where upon arrival, 1 Jose Flores reported to them that earlier today, sometime around 8, he was visited by a male and a female person, whom he is familiar with. Sometime shortly thereafter, he departed his home along with the female, leaving the male person at his home. Whilst out in San Pedro, he was called [and told] that a there was a shooting incident at his apartment. So, upon the police's arrival, they observed a brown complexioned male person motionless in a sitting position, with what appears to be gunshot injuries. A this point in time, we have not been able to determine his identity, and so far, we do not have anyone detained."
Police found 12 - nine millimeter expended shells at the scene.
