A man was shot and robbed on Friday morning on the Cristo Rey road out west. Fortunately, he survived the attack. Police told us more.

"San Ignacio police responded to information of a robbery on the Cristo Rey road where upon arrival they met one Takeem Maskal, 23 years with apparent gunshot wound to his left lower abdomen. He reported to them that while he visited a farm on the Cristo Rey road in order to make a purchase he had stopped at the security gate and while there, he was approached by a male person wearing mask who demanded money and as a result the person fired a shot which caught him in his left lower abdomen, the bag he was carrying with documents and monies was stolen after which that person made good his escape assisted by another male person on a motorbike."
Police are looking for suspects. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
