There was a gun scare near the Bel China bridge this morning around 8:30 when shots rang out.
According to eyewitnesses - a gunman came from Ebony Street and shot after a group of young men standing at the Chinese Grocery next to UDP headquarters. Fortunately no one was hit and the men scattered towards their homes in conch shell bay.
The shooter retreated down Ebony Street. Police recovered 7 expended shells from the area. Police believe it is part of an ongoing rivalry between neighboring gangs.
