A Retaliation Shooting
posted (May 20, 2019)
And police believe that this Michael's shooting, resulted in direct retaliation about 18 hours later.

At around 10:00 p.m. that same Sunday, 27 year-old Jamal Palacio, a resident of Pelican Street in Belize City, and 30 year-old Justin Stuart, a park ranger from Belmopan, and Kent Troy were in front of Palacio's house.

That's when men rode up on motorcycle, and one of them pulled out weapon and fired on both of them.

Palacio was injured to the left thumb, but Stuart suffered the worse injury of the two. 2 of the bullets injured him to the abdomen.

Here's what police had to say about that case:

ASP Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Belize City
"On Sunday night just after 10pm, police visited the KHMH where they observed 2 persons with apparent gunshot wounds. They were identified as Jamal Palacio, 27 years old of Pelican Street and Justin Stuart of a Belmopan address. What police gathered so far is that Mr. Palacio and Mr. Stuart were in front of Mr. Palacio's residence when 2 male persons came on a motorcycle and one of the male persons from the motorcycle fired several shots at their direction causing the injuries to them. Both of them were admitted at the hospital. Mr. Palacio was discharged and Mr. Stuart is still admitted in a critical condition."
