Cops Looking For Cattle Landing Criminals
posted (May 30, 2019)
Last night we showed you a terrifying armed robbery which happened on Tuesday night at the Village of Cattle Landing, right outside of PG Town.

As we reported, at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday three masked men slipped into "D Cattle Landing Palace Store" through the back door, and held up an employee and an older woman. One of the men had a pump action shotgun and the other carried a machete, while the third male person stood guard at the back door - also with a pump action shotgun.

It's the kind of nightmare that no one should be subjected to, and today the cops told us what they know so far:

ACP Joseph Myvette - Head, NCIB
"On Tuesday, Punta Gorda police responded to a report of a robbery in Cattle Landing, where they visited D Cattle Landing Palace, where the proprietor of a grocery store reported to police that sometime around 8:30 p.m., 3 male persons dressed in black and camouflage clothing entered his business place. One of them was armed with a shotgun, whilst another was armed with a handgun. They demanded money, and as a result, his business was ransacked. An undisclosed amount of money was taken, and before the robbers exited his business place, they fired one single shot inside the building. So far, the police is following several leads, and one person is detained in relation to this investigation."
