A nurse is reportedly in surgery at the KHMH after she was stabbed by a mentally ill patient at the Port Loyola Acute Mental Health Day Care Center this evening.
Around 4:30, the 29 year old male mental patient was reportedly receiving treatment when he stabbed the nurse in the shoulder area - though the details are not yet confirmed.
The mental patient was detained and is in police custody, while the nurse was rushed to the KHMH. We'll have more on this tomorrow.
