There was a fire on Princess Margaret Drive in Belize City this afternoon. It happened at the Moore family home - which is right in front of the Marion Jones Stadium. Smoke could be seen streaming from the roof of the cement structure. As we understand it - an elderly resident was at home.
Fortunately, the Fire Department quickly brought it under control - and it was contained effectively. We hope to have more eon this tomorrow.,
