New BATSUB Boss

The British Army Training and Support Unit Belize (BATSUB) has a new commander. He's Lt. Colonel Simon Nichols, MBE.

The British High Commission's Belmopan office posted this photograph on their Facebook page. Nichols is the man in uniform to the far left of the picture, and he takes over from Lt. Colonel Simon Walton, the outgoing commander, who you can see on the far left of the picture. They are joined by Felix Enriquez, the CEO in the Ministry of National Security and British High Commissioner Claire Evans.

The photograph was captioned, quote, "The British High Commission/ BATSUB partnership is a vital part of supporting UK/Belize relations." End quote.
