World Oceans Day was Saturday, celebrated under the theme"Gender and the Oceans".
In Belize, OCEANA led the observation by deploying its Wavemakers across the country to do Beach cleanups in Corozal, Caye Caulker, Hopkins, Snake Caye and Punta Negra among many other activities, such as Art Sessions, and School presentations.
